Frensham Little Pond in Autumn Mist

Frensham Little Pond

Vanishing into the mist…

Another misty morning at Frensham Pond on the way to the Wisetiger office. The lake is a magical place in the mist, the view disappears into nothingness – it could be the edge of the world for all we know! And the other eerie thing is the silence. Even the birds fall silent in the mist…

Frensham Little Pond dates back to the 13th century. It’s a man-made lake that was built to supply fish to the Bishop of Winchester and his court when they visited Farnham Castle. Cool place to visit and great for wildlife too.

The photo was taken on my lovely Nikon d7100 and a 16-85mm Nikkor lens at ƒ/4, 1/60 second ISO 160. Check out the photo on Flickr.
