Cut off by the tide

St Michael’s Mount

Hard to believe but this time last week we’d just spent the day on the beach in Cornwall watching the sun go down over St Michael’s Mount – in glorious weather and 20°C of November sunshine!

The nice lady that served us our Cornish Cream Tea told us that the winter months are the best time of the year for photographing the Mount at sunset. During the summer the sun sets too far to the west to get the evening light. Nice tip!
