Vanishing into the mist… Another misty morning at Frensham Pond on the way to the Wisetiger office. The lake is a magical place in the mist, the view disappears into nothingness – it could be the edge of the world for all we know! And the other eerie thing is the silence. Even the birds fall […]

Petersfield Boating Lake
Petersfield boating lake at daybreak. Ducks and geese everywhere and all they wanted to do was photo bomb the picture that I’d just spent 20 minutes lining up! A 30 second exposure on my Nikon d7100. Rolling along at ISO 100, ƒ/22.0 at 30th second. This photo made Flickr Explore. It’s also on 500px. Thanks for looking.
The Billing near Yeadon, Yorkshire
Reet parky. Christmas snow at Yeadon. The weather was ‘reet parky’ but lovely to be with family at this time of the year. Nikon D7100, 10-24mm ƒ/18 1/40 sec at ISO 100. See Flickr and 500px.

Reflections of Frensham Little Pond

Shot on my Nikon D7100, with a Nikkor 16-85mm lens at ƒ/4.0, 1/80th second, ISO 160. This […]
The Itchen Bridge, Southampton
Under Itchen Bridge Stopped on the way back from Ikea to admire the underneath of The Itchen Bridge. Needs a few tea lights to brighten it up, I wish I’d thought about this while I was at the shops! Taking the photo had a few challenges. Firstly, it was raining which is why the photo […]
Early morning at Stockbridge Pond near Tilford, Surrey
Start of the day at the lake I stopped off this morning on the way to work at Stockbridge Pond, near Tilford in Surrey to catch the mist. Stockbridge Pond is a little fishing pond tucked away in the woods. The mist was just clearing and it was very still apart from the occasional ‘plop’ […]
